Beecroft et al in their study concluded that female patients with Fournier's gangrene have greater Fournier's gangrene in female: A rare entity BMI but similar clinical presentation, microbiologic characteristics, and mortality rate compared to men (6% vs. 7%, p>0.05) [9].
