Fractional order adaptive control for systems of locally nonlinearizable nonlinearities

Abstract: In this paper electromagnetic servo valve controlled differential hydraulic cylinders are considered as paradigms of non-linear systems that have locally nonlinearizable nonlinearities. One of them is of hydrodynamic origin: theflow resistance of the system is proportional to the square root of certain pressure difference that has infinite derivative at zero. The other nonlinearity is caused by the discontinuous behavior of the friction and adhesion forces between the piston and the cylinder at zero piston vel… Show more

“…One of its advantage is that it can assure braking torque in low speed. Because the hydraulic reducer's braking torque will attenuated with the decrease of vehicle speed, and brake's abrasion will be relatively small in low vehicle speed [4][5][6][7][8]. Here disc brake is adopted could not only ensure braking torque in low 978-1-4244-7956-6/1 0/$26.00 ©20 10 IEEE 215 speed, but also avoid the abrasion of braking disc in high speed, the service life will be prolonged [9].…”
