Fracture-Separation of the Lower Humeral Epiphysis in Young Children

Abstract: Five fracture-separations of the lower humeral epiphysis, type II according to the Salter-Harris classification, are presented. The fracture line generally passes through the cartilaginous epiphysis, which does not show up in roentgenograms, and sometimes included a laterally based metaphyseal wedge.
