Fragmentation in Reconfigured Real-time Production Networks

Abstract: A reconfigurable production is able to adapt to a new product in a short time. This can be built up from cyber-physical production systems (CPPS) which exchange various data with several devices simultaneously via a convergent network. In these future production systems, convergent networks will connect more participants than real-time production networks do today.
