In this paper, the heat transfer mechanisms (absorption or release of heat) in an ideal gas system are investigated. The thermodynamic process is described using a pressure-volume diagram, and the relationship between pressure and volume is expressed as a quadratic equation with one variable. The methods employed include graphical analysis and computational techniques. The graphical method involves incorporating adiabatic lines as auxiliary references, while the computational method utilizes both the ideal gas law and the first law of thermodynamics for evaluation.
