Free-radical oxidation, antioxidants, and diabetic angiopathies

Abstract: The leading pathology in endocrinology is diabetes mellitus, which is characterized by a high incidence of disability and high mortality. According to the data of A. G. Mazovetsky, by 2000 compared with 1985, an increase in the number of patients with diabetes mellitus is expected to be 2.9 times. The frequency of vascular lesions in diabetes is 6891.3%.
