Free Vibrations in a Spherical Non-Homogeneous Elastic Region

Abstract: The objective of this paper is to study a natural frequencies of axisymmetric radial vibrations for transversely orthotropic material in a spherical non-homogeneous elastic region. The wave propagation of free harmonic vibrations in hollow and solid sphere of orthotropic material is discussed on the basis of the linear theory of elasticity.
