Frequency and trend of dengue fever in a tertiary care hospital in Kancheepuram, Tamilnadu: three-year retrospective study

Abstract: Background: Dengue is a mosquito borne viral disease which is endemic in the tropical and subtropical regions. In the recent years it has become a significant public health problem and its incidence is increasing in India. In 2016 1.1 lakh new dengue cases were reported in India.
