Frequency of Vitamin D deficiency in liver cirrhosis and its correlation with Child Pugh Score

Abstract: Objective: To determine the frequency of vitamin D deficiency in patients with liver cirrhosis and the relationship of vitamin D deficiency with Child Pugh Class in patients with cirrhosis. Materials and Methods: Vitamin D and calcium levels were checked in patients with cirrhosis of liver aged 18 to 80 years admitted in Gastroenterology department of Lahore General Hospital.
