“…Un ejemplo de esto es la presencia del pez mosquito, Gambusia affinis (Baird y Girard, 1853), que ha sido descrito en el sitio de estudio (De los Ríos-Escalante et al 2011). Se caracteriza por presentar un comportamiento depredador, como fue reportado por De los Ríos et al (2010) en la zona norte de Chile, donde su presencia en algunos sitios estaba relacionada con la ausencia de crustáceos, situación opuesta ocurriría en sitios donde la especie exótica no se encontraba presente. Un proceso similar ocurre en humedales de las zonas centro y sur del país referente a peces y anfibios (Iriarte et al 2005;Habit et al 2006), así como también en la Patagonia Argentina (Perotti et al 2005).…”
