From Kolisko to nowadays: progresses and discoveries in agro-homeopathy.

Abstract: The use of ultra-diluted preparations method in agriculture was introduced with agro-homeopathy, which allows to influence biological processes of plants by either accelerating or delaying growth. Moreover, it can contribute to the control of plagues and diseases, directly promoting an increase of the yield and an improvement of product qualitative traits. Since the pioneering works of Kolisko on wheat germination [1] and Junker on growth of microorganisms (paramecium, yeast, fungi) [2], in the last 30 years w… Show more

“…Currently international research studies on agro-homeopathy are separated into 2 main groups: for abiotically stressed plants due to heavy metal overexposure, salt excess, water and nutrient insufficiency ultra-diluted preparations stimulate regrowth. Organisms suffering from fungal, bacterial and viral pathogens or nematode infections may respond more strongly to ultra-diluted remedies than healthy ones [15]. One of the biggest challenges in agro-homeopathy is precisely selecting the proper treatment and dilution, which necessitates numerous time-consuming trials.…”

“…Methodological issues as well as general underinvestment in both academic and non-academic research systems frequently limit this. Fundamental studies based on cooperative strategies and on standard experimental procedures (such as statistical robustness) are essential for evaluating if agro-homeopathy is accepted globally as a viable agro-technique [15].…”
