From the Vertical to the Horizontal: 3D Printing Without the Requirement of Formwork

Abstract: The objective of this article is to develop a methodology to print selfsupporting, synclastic and anticlastic double curved surfaces tending to the horizontal from the vertical without requiring formwork. To achieve this goal the following was studied, fist place, the definition, the stresses and behaviors of double curved surfaces.
