Full length sequence of a novel HLA‐B*3818 allele differs from HLA‐B*380201 allele in exon 4 and intron 5

Abstract: The full length sequence of HLA-B*3818 differs from HLA-B*380201 at nt 660 in exon 4 (C-->A) and genomic position 2133 in intron 5 (A-->C).

“…Here, we report the full‐length sequences of 3 HLA‐B alleles, B*07:05:01:01 , B*14:01:01 and B*18:02 , confirmed by cloning and sequencing from 3 Chinese donors. We obtained 2.7 kb genomic full‐length sequences of the 3 HLA‐B alleles by the method of cloning and sequencing that we previously reported . The 3 full‐length sequences included all exons and introns.…”

“…Within the scope of a study on HLA‐B allele full‐length sequences, we obtained 2.7 kb genomic full‐length sequences by the method of cloning and sequencing that we previously reported . We compared the sequences of HLA‐B*67:01:01 and B*67:01:02 with the reference sequence HLA‐B*07:02:01 (IPD‐IMGT/HLA database).…”
