Full Wave Boundary Integral Analysis of Arbitrary Integrated Transmission Lines: Origin and Avoidance of Spurious Solutions

Abstract: Full wave analysis of arbitrary ope or shelded transmission lines by a space domain Bundary Integral Equation Method is demonstrated. It combines versatility In structure defition with reliability in that it is free of the "spurious solution" phenomenon. a problem which pertain to virtually awy m erical method in full wave eigenvalue problems except eigecton expansions. For the rust time a thematical explanation of the orig of this problem is given and its genral solution described.
