Fullerene Wires Assembled Inside Carbon Nanohoops

Abstract: Carbon-nanohoop structures featuring one or more roundshaped cavities represent ideal supramolecular hosts for spherical fullerenes, with potential to form host-guest complexes that perform as organic semiconductors in the solid state.
