“…The third type of spermatogenic cells which could be observed in this study is early spermatids with their round shape which were the smallest among all cells with a large central spherical nucleus, and then the fourth type is the elongated forms spermatids, these results were observed in both examined ages of Egyptian wild boar and the elongated spermatids have oval nuclei and found toward the lumen with an electron‐dense cap above the nucleus. All these obtained results come in agreement with the results of (Dyhana et al, 2016; Fietz & Bergmann, 2017). By nuclear condensation, the elongated spermatids become visible by their darker and smaller nucleus (Fietz & Bergmann, 2017).…”

“…The testes also referred to as the testicles are the male gonads concerned with the production of sperm cells where the haploid germ cell is generated and male reproductive hormone (testosterone). Each functional testis is about 15 mL or more in volume, but a size lower than 15 mL indicates injury to the seminiferous tubule, which occupies about 95% of the major volume of approximately 500 tubules per testis [3]. Each testicular lobule contains tightly packed seminiferous tubules and sparse interstitial connective tissue.…”
