Functional and logical model of imaginative thinking in psychological and ergonomic studies of artificial intelligence

Abstract: The regularities of human cognition associated with imaginative and symbolic-logical components of thinking are considered. A functional and logical model of imaginative thinking is developed and a block diagram of the model is presented. The psychological regularities of imaginative thinking related to operational and long-term memory, the life cycle of images, filtering and correction of images in accordance with the developed functional and logical model are illustrated.
