Abstract:BACKGROUND: High pressure in diabetic foot plantar areas causes ulcer formation, leading to disability and amputations. Around 25% of diabetics experience foot ulcers, with prevalence rates varying among Africans, Asians, and Europeans. Egypt has the highest rates, ranging from 6.1% to 29.3%.
