Abstract: SummaryBackgroundFunctional constipation (FC), a disorder of the gut–brain interaction of multifactorial pathophysiology that is prevalent in paediatrics. It is associated with bothersome symptoms, increased healthcare costs, disgruntled caregivers and impaired health‐related quality of life.
