Others have also measured the electrophysiological properties of ARC neurons given different experimental treatments, including fasting ( Liu et al., 2012 ), exercise ( Han et al., 2018 ), high fat diet (HFD) ( Baver et al., 2014 ; Wei et al., 2015 ; Jais et al., 2020 ), and gastric inputs ( Alhadeff et al., 2019 ; Goldstein et al., 2021 ; Jais et al., 2020 ).
