Abstract: A phosphonate-functionalized Zr@FMA material was prepared as an adsorbent for efficient Th(iv) recovery from aqueous solutions. The adsorbent demonstrates a large surface area, enhanced adsorption capacity, and excellent selectivity for Th(iv).
