Abstract:Magnon-polaritons (MPs) refer to a light-magnon coupled state and can potentially act as information carriers, possibly enabling charge-free computation. However, the light-magnon coupling is inherently weak. To achieve sufficiently strong coupling, a large ferromagnet or coupling with a microwave cavity is necessary. Herein, we theoretically propose a fundamental platform for magnonic and magnon-optical information storage devices and discuss the transport properties of MP's. The proposed multi-layered struct… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
