Abstract:Electrophoretic deposition (EPD) is a technique in which charged particles dispersed in a liquid are deposited onto a conductive substrate under the force of an applied electric field. The fundamentals of the EPD process are discussed along with applications of the deposition of phosphors for high-resolution information displays and light-emitting diodes, zeolites for fabrication of modified electrodes and supported membranes, and single-walled carbon nanotube structures.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
