Background: Dermatitis refers to the inflammation of the skin and can be acute, sub-acute, or chronic. In 2014, there were 364 cases in Meureubo Health Center , which increased sharply to 1,854 cases in 2915 and 2,794 cases in 2016. Purpose: This study looks at the relationship between personal hygiene and a history of contact with families suffering from dermatitis and the incidence of dermatitis in farmers in West Aceh Regency. Methods: This research was conducted using a descriptive observational design and was carried out in the working area of the Meureubo Health Center in West Aceh Regency between 5 December 2017 and 8 January 2018. A purposive sampling technique was used for the collection of primary and secondary data. Results: The majority of respondents were male (60%), aged 31–40 years (66%), and had a low education level (76%). The majority of farmers had poor personal hygiene (61%) and had a history of contact with families suffering from dermatitis (66%). Conclusion: There is a high prevalence of poor personal hygiene in farmers, and they tend to have a history of contact with family members suffering from dermatitis.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran motivasi kerja dalam memediasi pengaruh pengembangan karir terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Single Fin Surf Shop, Cafe and Bar Kabupaten Badung. Jumlah sampel yang diambil sebanyak 106 orang karyawan, dengan metode sampel jenuh. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dari hasil penyebaran kuesioner. Analisis data, analisis jalur, analisis sobel dan analisis VAF. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa pengembangan karir berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan. Pengembangan karir berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan dalam memediasi pengaruh antara pengembangan karir terhadap kinerja karyawan. Single Fin Surf Shop, Cafe and Bar Kabupaten Badung sebaiknya memberikan kesempatan karir yang berkaitan dengan pendidikan untuk melaksanakan pekerjaan sehingga karyawan dapat menghasilkan kinerja yang maksimal serta memberikan motivasi kepada karyawan agar dapat mengembangkan karirnya. Kata Kunci : kinerja karyawan, motivasi kerja, pengembangan karir ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the role of work motivation in mediating the effect of career development on employee performance. This research was conducted at the Single Fin Surf Shop, Cafe and Bar Badung Regency. The number of samples taken was 106 employees, using the saturated sample method. Data collection was obtained from the results of questionnaires. Data analysis, path analysis, single analysis and VAF analysis. The results of this study found that career development had a positive and significant effect on employee work motivation. Career development has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work motivation has a positive and significant effect in mediating the influence between career development on employee performance. Bad Fin Single Shop, Cafe and Bar Badung Regency should provide career opportunities related to education to carry out work so that employees can produce maximum performance and provide motivation for employees to develop their careers.

To help avoid the most catastrophic effects of climate change, society needs to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by mid-century. Wind energy provides a clean, renewable source of electricity; however, improperly sited wind facilities pose known threats to wildlife populations and contribute to degradation of natural habitats. To support a rapid transition to low-carbon energy while protecting imperiled species, we identified potential low-impact areas for wind development in a 17-state region of the central U.S. By combining maps of sensitive habitats and species with wind speed and land use information, we demonstrate that there is significant potential to develop wind energy in the Great Plains while avoiding significant negative impacts to wildlife. These low-impact areas have the potential to yield approximately 1,099-1,832 GW of wind capacity. This is equivalent to 10-18 times current U.S. installed wind capacity. Our analysis demonstrates that ambitious low-carbon energy goals are achievable on sites with minimal risk of wildlife conflict.
