Fusion and neutron transfer reactions with weakly bound nuclei within time-dependent and coupled channel approaches

Abstract: The time-dependent Schrödinger equation and the coupled channel approach based on the method of perturbed stationary two-center states are used to describe nucleon transfers and fusion in low-energy nuclear reactions. Results of the cross sections calculation for the formation of the 198 Au and fusion in the 6 He+ 197 Au reaction and for the formation of the 65 Zn in 6 He+ 64 Zn reaction agree satisfactorily with the experimental data near the barrier. The Feynman's continual integrals calculations for a few-b… Show more

“…The use of the time-dependent Schrodinger equation to study rearrangement of neutrons during fusion reactions was proposed by [8,9]. Such approach makes it possible to obtain a microscopic description of dynamics of nuclear fusion [8,9], neutrons stripping and pick-up [10][11][12][13][14], and breakup of nuclei. This paper described neutrons transfer and breakup processes in a collision of ( 11 Li + 9 Be ).…”
