Abstract: Melanoma, a cancer arising from melanocytes, requires a novel treatment strategy because of the ineffectiveness of conventional therapies in certain patients. Fustin is a flavanonol found in young fustic (Cotinus coggygria). However, little is known about its antimelanoma effects.
