Abstract:Echocardiography is an ultrasound of the heart for the assessment of cardiac structure and function. Images obtained from the ultrasound suffer from a speckle Noise. Speckle is an inherent multiplicative noise which affects the visual perception by discriminating the fine details in the echocardiography. Speckle removal is important step to improve the visual quality of the echocardiography for better diagnosis.
