GALEX UV Catalog of Low-redshift Galaxies for Estimating Transient Rates

Abstract: Detection of transients such as supernovae (SNe) and kilonovae (KNe) in early phase has recently become important for understanding the progenitor properties and multi-messenger astronomy. Predicting which galaxy has the higher probability of hosting the transient events would help detect the early phase of the events and get information on their progenitors.
