Abstract:Overview
Biliary tract malignancy, which includes gallbladder cancer and cholangiocarcinoma, is an aggressive disease that is often advanced at the time of diagnosis and thus associated with a poor prognosis. In this article, we will review the epidemiology, risk factors, pathology, clinical presentation, diagnostic imaging modalities, and current treatment recommendations for gallbladder adenocarcinoma and cholangiocarcinoma.
