Gallbladder Dyskinesia

Abstract: This article is a review of a controversial area of gallbladder disease. Despite the limitations in evaluating gallbladder dyskinesia, it remains a common diagnosis, and cholecystectomy is the mainstay of treatment. The sections include the history of this disorder, epidemiology, clinical presentation, diagnosis, approach to treatment, and follow-up. This review is intended to inform healthcare providers of the most recent data on diagnosis and management.
