Gallbladder polyps – a follow-up study after 11 years

Abstract: BackgroundThe aim of our study was to investigate the prevalence and natural long-term progression of gallbladder polyps in a random sample of the general population.MethodsFour hundred and thirteen subjects (190 women, 223 men; aged 29–75 years) were studied first in 2002 and again eleven years later in 2013.
