Abstract:The landslide disaster in Kauman District, Tulungagung Regency, East Java, resulted in various adverse impacts on community activities and the environment. The purpose of this study was to determine the classification of soil in the area. The methods used were atterberg limit testing, sieve analysis, compaction and shear strength.
