Gap junction blockers: a potential approach to attenuate morphine withdrawal symptoms

Abstract: BackgroundThe exact mechanisms of morphine-induced dependence and withdrawal symptoms remain unclear. In order to identify an agent that can prevent withdrawal syndrome, many studies have been performed.
