Gardening Pocillopora spp. fragments and their potential for rebuilding reef systems in the southern Mexican Pacific

Abstract: The degradation of coral reefs during the last decades has turned attention toward management and restoration interventions. This study seeks to operationalize coral gardening of Pocillopora spp. fragments in low profile bottom‐anchored nurseries and to compare survival and growth patterns between sites, time, and fragment size in the southern Mexican Pacific.
