Abstract:In this study, nickel nanowires (Ni-NWs) were first grown by chemical method and then graphene was grown on the as-obtained Ni-NWs by CVD route to yield graphene nanotubes (GNTs). The GNTs were then hydrothermally combined with ZnO to construct a gas sensor for detection of NO2. The as-prepared GNT@ZnO sensor displayed high sensitivity towards the detection of NO2 reaching up to 47.5% per 50 ppm NO2. In addition, the sensor exhibited relatively fast response time of 300 s and recovery time of around 200 s unde… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
