Gastric bypass and antidepressant concentrations

Abstract: Obesity is known to be associated with depression (Luppino et al., 2010), and antidepressant prescriptions are common in patients with obesity. Roux‐en‐Y gastric bypass (RYGB), one of the most commonly performed bariatric surgeries for obese patients, results in significant changes to gastric and intestinal architecture.
