Gastric Gist With Retroperitoneal Extension: Case Report

Abstract: Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) are rare mesenchymal neoplasms of the gastrointestinal tract. GISTs that arise from the bowel wall usually present as subepithelial neoplasms in the stomach and small intestine; however, they can also arise in any portion of the gastrointestinal tract and, occasionally, in the omentum, mesentery, and peritoneum.
