“…These results suggest that the stimulatory effects of α-LA act independently of endogenous PGE 2 . In this context, several gastroprotective agents, such as epidermal growth factor and geranylgeranylacetone, have been reported to increase mucin synthesis and secretion in cultured cells through prostaglandin-independent pathways (Terano et al, 1986;Shimamoto et al, 2003). To date, the prostaglandin-independent pathways for mucin metabolism remain unclear.…”

“…EGFR is the receptor for EGF, and EGF is secreted by the submandibular gland, salivary gland, pancreas, and duodenum 21 . It can restrain the secretion of gastric acid, protect the gastric mucosa, and promote gastric epithelial repair and regeneration 22,23 . These functions of EGF are achieved when EGF binds to its receptor, and changes in EGFR expression directly affect the function of EGF.…”

“…В настоящее время описаны дополнительные эффекты рабепразола [67]. В экспериментальных исследованиях у животных цитопротективный (гастропротективный) эффект был отмечен только у рабепразола и отсутствовал или был существенно менее выражен у омепразола и лансопразола [68][69][70].…”
