Gastric schwannoma coexisting with tubular adenoma of the gallbladder: a rare combination

Abstract: We report a case of a man in his early 50 s who was admitted to our hospital for anorexia. An imaging examination led to a preoperative diagnosis of a gastrointestinal stromal tumor and gallbladder stones. He underwent treatment by laparoscopic cholecystectomy and distal partial gastrectomy with lymph node dissection. The final histopathological diagnosis was gastric schwannoma and tubular adenoma of the gallbladder.
