Abstract:Introduction Trichobezoars are rare hair masses that can cause abdominal symptoms and obstruction, commonly seen in children, adolescents, and adults with conditions like trichotillomania and trichophagia. Diagnosis often involves CT scans, and surgical removal is the primary treatment due to limited success with endoscopy. Post-surgery, psychiatric evaluation, and cognitive-behavioral therapy are essential to prevent recurrence.
