Abstract:BACKGROUND
Infection with
Histoplasma capsulatum

H. capsulatum
) can lead to disseminated disease involving the gastrointestinal tract presenting as diffuse abdominal pain and diarrhea which may mimic inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
