Terrell Jake Dionne graduated summa cum laude from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies and a minor in English in May 2014.Through his mentorship with Dr. Megan Morrissey, he adopted a queer approach to qualitative rhetorical research, specifically questioning the way discursive systems come to construct reality.His research focuses on the intersections of rhetoric and critical/cultural studies, focusing primarily on questions related to environmental justice, animal studies, trauma studies, porn studies, and queer theory. He currently attends Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York as a graduate student and a teaching assistant in the Department of Communication and Rhetorical Studies.
