The North Semarang region has a very high frequency of tidal flooding. Therefore, it is very necessary to maintain health for victims of tidal flooding. Health care efforts are useful to anticipate, and prevent health problems that may occur afterward. Previous research was still limited to address medication problems so that this study performed preventive health care efforts. This study aims to explore the experience of tidal flooding victims related to their health care efforts in Terboyo Wetan Village, District of Semarang Genuk, in 2019. This qualitative research was combined with a qualitative descriptive approach. Semi-structured in-depth interviews were further employed. The samples of this research were five participants selected using purposive sampling technique. Then, the data were analyzed by a method, namely thematic analysis. This study identified three themes, which include: (1) The impact of tidal flooding experienced by the community, (2) Health care efforts for victims of tidal flooding, and (3) Health services during tidal flooding. Health care efforts that have not been maximized are efforts to prevent the emergence of health problems due to tidal flooding as indicated by the limited use of boots, and inappropriate manners in maintaining sanitation, and health. Those can be observed from only a few participants who cleaned the house, and the environment properly. The efforts done by the participants are still considered less appropriate in preventing the spread of disease. In other words, health care efforts at the prevention stage have not been yet effective although the treatment stage has been already optimal. At last, to conduct further research regarding the factors that influence health care efforts for victims of tidal floods is also expected in the future.

DEMNAS : NATIONAL DIGITAL ELEVATION MODEL FOR COASTAL APPLICATION.DEM is a digital data which contain information about elevation. In Indonesia, DEM can be generated from elevation points or contours in RBI (Rupabumi Indonesia). DEM can be performed to research of coastal application i.e. inundation or tsunami. DEM can help to analyze vulnerability or evacuation zone for coastal hazards. DEMNAS is one product of BIG (Geospatial Information Agency) which consist of elevation data from remote sensing images. DEMNAS data has not been widely used and is still being developed but DEMNAS has an advantage of spatial resolution. DEMNAS has spatial resolution 0.27 arc-second, which is bigger than the spatial resolution of global DEM.

Tidal flood is a disaster that threatens coastal areas due to sea-level rise and land subsidence. One of the sub-districts in the city of Semarang, which is included in the tidal flood-prone area in every years, is the North Semarang Sub-District. The area of tidal flood is 55.95 Ha and the data of estimated generation of tidal flood waste in the North Semarang Sub-District is +/- 70 tons. Lack of planning for handling waste disasters, especially for tidal flood waste, is a challenge related to environmental and economic impacts that occur at tidal flood sites. This study aims to examine the quantification of the cost of handling tidal flood waste using quantitative descriptive analysis cost accounting calculation method. The calculation is done by considering several things, namely the activity of handling waste, the need for handling waste, as well as the calculation of the cost of handling tidal flood waste. The total cost of handling tidal flood waste in North Semarang Sub-District is IDR 14,209,324,000/year or IDR 1,184,110,333/month. The results of the calculation of the overall cost are then divided by the area of the tidal flood so that the unit cost of handling waste per m2 is IDR 2,117/m2.
