Gender Responsive Budgeting and Women in Sri Lanka

Abstract: This paper investigates, through a gender lens, how budgets are conceived, planned, approved, executed, monitored, analyzed and audited. It involves an analysis of government expenditure on women as compared to expenditure on men.
