This Special Issue of Journal of Neuroendocrinology is based on presentations given at the 24th International Symposium on Regulatory Peptides (RegPep24), held in August 2022, at the University of Stirling, Scotland (https://www.regpep.org). RegPep24 established a new meeting dynamic based on plenary lectures, daily keynote lecture sessions, main symposia, daily data blitz, mini-plenary presentations from early career researchers and a daily plenary major themes discussion.
