Generalized Barut-Girardello Coherent States for Mixed States with Arbitrary Distribution

Abstract: In the paper we examine some properties of the generalized coherent states of the Barut-Girardello kind. These states are defined as eigenstates of a generalized lowering operator and they are strongly dependent on the structure constants. Besides the pure coherent states we focused our attention on the mixed states one, which are characterized by different probability distributions. As some examples we consider the thermal canonical distribution and the Poisson distribution functions. We calculate for these c… Show more

“…Under its influence, the scanned atoms (usually hydrogen atoms) in the human body align, as they can absorb radio frequency energy (Figure 2). The hydrogen atoms generate a signal, which is detected by a receiving radio coil of the MRI scanner [7,8,9]. Several magnetic gradient coils are used to retain the position of the emitting atoms along the x, y and zaxes [8], varying the magnetic field across the investing organs.…”

“…These states were named as Barut-Girardello coherent states (BG CS). In the context of constant mass systems, a lot of contributions has been made by several authors [41,48,51,[66][67][68][69][70][71][72][73][74][75]. Particularly, different kinds of deformed nonlinear oscillators and their associated coherent states have been discussed extensively [76,77], as a deviation to linear harmonic oscillator.…”
