Generation and manipulation of phonon lasering in a two-drive cavity magnomechanical system

Abstract: A simple and feasible scheme for the generation and manipulation of phonon lasering is proposed and investigated based on a generic three-mode cavity magnomechanical system, in which a magnon mode couples simultaneously with a microwave cavity mode and a phonon mode. In sharp contrast to all previous phonon lasering schemes with only a single drive, the input pump field for the system in the proposed scheme is split into two microwave driving fields to drive the microwave cavity mode and the magnon mode, respe… Show more

“…Research has shown that the error probability is less than 10 −5 when αθ 2 > 9 [50], which indicates that our complete HBSA scheme can operate in the regime of weak cross-Kerr nonlinearity. It should be noted that the generation of Kerr nonlinearities in optical microcavities and magnonic systems has also been investigated recently [63,64]. Moreover, the cavity-assisted interaction and quantum dot spin in an optical microcavity may also provide accessible ways to build the photon number QND we required [65][66][67][68][69][70][71].…”

“…CoFeB [59], which exhibits much stronger magnetostriction but also much larger magnon dissipation. As for mechanical amplification, phonon laser has also been theoretically studied [60][61][62][63][64], e.g. nonreciprocal [61] and exceptional-point-engineered [64] phonon laser are suggested.…”

In addition, the analogous three-mode coupling hybrid systems have also been demonstrated in multimode optomechanical systems, which include one mechanical mode coupled to two cavity modes by radiation pressure 54 , 55 , 56 , 57 , 58 , 59 and a single optical mode coupled to mechanical modes. 60 , 61 …”
