Genetic Association of Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Susceptibility to Polymorphisms in the CTLA-4 Gene on Chromosome 2q33.

Abstract: The current knowledge of potential risk factors for lymphomas is limited. There is strong evidence that altered immunological function entails an increased risk of lymphoma. CTLA-4 gene encodes for a receptor that provides a negative signal to the T-cell once an immune response is initiated and complete.
