“…The genotypes, i.e., ACM 20001, Kothamalli samba, Mikkuruvai , and NWGR-16022, which were plotted more away from origin, had highly diverse from other genotypes, which can be used in hybridization to ensure wide genetic variability in the recombinants. Nahar et al [ 48 ] revealed that four principal components together accounted for 77.94% of the variation among 50 rice genotypes. The results of both multivariate techniques showed a more or less similar pattern of grouping genotypes.…”

“…In the present study, we have used the ISSR marker to study the genetic relatedness among 14 noncommercial banana accessions of Assam. ISSR marker system in our study showed polymorphisms of 89.66% which was adequate to distinguish the individuals precisely (Nahar et al, 2020). Each primer could generate polymorphism among the accessions, which may be due to mutation at priming sites.…”

“…These 3 QTL will be useful for the enhancement of terminal drought stress tolerance through marker assisted breeding approach in rice. Osmotic stress related morpho-physiological and ISSR markers characteristics were implemented among 23 rice landraces by Naharet al (2020) [21] . Among 23 rice landraces, eight germplasm collected from various agro-climatic zones exhibited speculated level of tolerance, better adaption and resistance under osmotic stress treatment (Manjunatha et al, 2021) [17] .…”
