Abstract:In general, many domestic breeds of livestock evolved to different geographical regions, Awassi sheep in particular, adapted to Fertile Crescent region where cradle of domestication took place. Awassi sheep has tremendous genetic diversity compared to other domestic sheep breeds of the world.
